Since its founding in 1988, TEBIT – The Medical Group has been a company with tradition and strong roots in the Sauerland region of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Our company is characterized not only by its family corporate culture, but also by the innovative development spirit of our management. We specialize in the production of components and assemblies for medical technology and implantology and offer tailor-made solutions to make our customers’ ideas become reality.
As a modern company, we attach great importance to our employees. More than 140 employees work every day to achieve our goals and live our values.
The two pillars of TEBIT – The Medical Group are TEBIT Medical Devices GmbH and TEBIT Implants Technology GmbH. This enables us to use our expertise to offer our customers in medical device and plant engineering as well as in implantology the best individual solution.

Milestones in our company history
1988
Founding of the company
Meinolf Skudlarek founded the “Technical Consulting and Innovation Team” with his fellow student Christoph Rennefeld at your place of study in Paderborn. A little later, the company headquarters moved to Meinerzhagen and Meinolf Skudlarek continued to expand the company in his hometown.
2007
Expansion of production areas
Preliminary completion of the gradual expansion of the production areas at the Meinerzhagen location.
2012
Expansion of management
Thomas Becker joins the company as the second managing partner.
2013
Focus on medical technology
The construction of the “Medical Technology” hall and the associated founding of TEBIT Medizintechnik GmbH manifest the strategic focus on medical technology.
2016
ISO 13485 certification
Continuous implementation and certification according to the ISO 13485 quality management system for the entire group.
2019
Cleanroom and name change
Change of name to TEBIT Medical Devices & TEBIT Implants Technology GmbH and construction of an ISO class 7 clean room.
2023
Thomas Voss becomes managing director
Founder and partner Meinolf Skudlarek is withdrawing from operational management. Thomas Voss joins the management alongside Thomas Becker.

Our daily actions are based on the requirements of our customers and the expectations of patients, who require high-quality treatment. We ensure this through understandable and binding work instructions and through the use of innovative technology.
Through consistently stable processes and quality products, we guarantee customer satisfaction and patient safety during their treatment. We control these processes through sustainable and binding planning as well as through the use of suitable tools and technologies.
Quality is created through targeted qualification and training of employees. That’s why we see mistakes as an opportunity to learn new things and continually improve. We deal with errors transparently, ensure optimal communication conditions and work together on suitable prevention and corrective measures.
As patients, we also trust in smooth treatment that restores our health without any technical risks. Therefore, as employees, we ensure that other patients can also be treated with this certainty. Such a team effort is only possible through our discipline and our openly communicated appreciation for each other.
We always investigate the causes of errors throughout the entire process chain, not in individual activities. Similar to a patient’s complaints, errors also have very complex causes that are made up of several events putcan This requires in-depth analysis that goes beyond the obvious.
